0000233: Account Verification can stop people from purchasing

The account verification step is a possible derailment of purchase flow. If there is a way to set the member verification step as optional or at least not displayed then we can move to a more streamlined purchase. The advantage here is that most people will be able to log back in and retrieve their tickets while not being derailed from purchase.

I think it would be a good thing to add like 3-5 blanc fields into the event creatoin that peaople can use for their own needs. in my example i want to add Facebook url, musicload url and the url of a mp3 folder...

Allow to use the global Promocode also on event level.
- The code is allowed to be used in multiple events but not on the global
- when a patron choose a discount with promocode an input box is shown to enter the code.

Ok... so here is how I need it to work...

I need to be able to specify discount codes for certain events instead of just globally. Or be able to pick which events the code works on when you create it. I also need to be able to make it so it takes the discount off each ticket ordered instead of just the entire order. It would be cool to be able to choose if you wanted it to just do a percentage of the entire order, a specific amount per ticket, or a specific amount per order. But for now I just need to be able to have the discount apply to each ticket.

I have attached an image of how this other system does it. Step 3 is what I am talking about but I included the others as well.

At the moment there is a summary of all ordered tickets listed on the receipt and the invoice, sorted by category or discount. If a client orders tickets through the webshop with a payment method like "at entrance", he gets a receipt from PDF like mentioned above. The feedback from testers shows that they miss the row# and seat# of each ordered ticket on that receipt. The clients like to know in cold print exactly what they have ordered, in case there would be a problem or disputs. With the addition of the row# and seat# of each ordered ticket on the cold print, all potential missunderstandings can be eliminated. I tried to put together an example of such a receipt. Maybe the location I chose for that particular information is not the best one. It's just an example.

Need a Cookie warning when A user has cookies disabled, need to tell them to enable cookie support. Very important for all parts of the site. Cart/Login/tabs wont work in alot of cases without cookie support.

When I search for an order in admin and open it i cannot see what Shipment / Payment the order has. It confuses a little bit because you dont know if you have to print the Invoice or if it will be send by e-mail...

Doesn't need to be archived until AFTER the event!

The max order limit.

The max order limit in admin / config is now seen as a default order limit for an event and is overwritten by the events order limit.

Is that really needed? If there is an Event Order limit I can set it in the event creation, if there is none I leave it at 0. Why a global default limit?

May be better would be the following option. The max order limit, lets call it MAXTOTAL sets the total amount of tickets that can be ordered per checkout / order process. That makes sure people cannot order like 100 or more tickets in one order. Each event has its order limit and there is that MAXTOTAL limit.

Example:
Event 1 Order limit 20
Event 2 Order limit 10
Event 3 Order limit 20
Event 4 Order limit 50
Event 5 Order limit 50
=>150 Tix in Cart if I order all!

If I have a MAXTOTAL limit per checkout / order with may be 25 TIX then
I can order 20 Tix in Event 1 for example and then have ONLY 5 seats / Tix left I can order in Event2,3,4 or 5. That way I can cut down the total order amount and make sure people don’t order too much and its even like a default when I leave the event order limit at 0 /off.

So the function should first check if MAXTOTAL is not rwached and then go on checking if event limit is not reached and may be set the event limit to what is left to the MAXTOTAL. (I have 20 Tix in CART, MAXTOTAL is 25 then in the event the limit is 5 even if it was set to 20 in event creation.)

If you have two handling methods in using google checkout with the same merchat details.
i.e.
Google + Post Handling_id: 10
Google + Collect Handling_id : 11

When the CBR is generated the cbr=# is the same.
Subsequently the decoder grabs the first handling method. And when the ipn from google is recived the Order::LoadOrderFromPayment doenst work as the handling ID will allways be the first cbr method.

Thus duplicate cbr handling methods DO NOT WORK!

There are needs for events to be stoped at certain times before the event. Handling will allready unpublish its self (which needs more settings)

It would be more prudent to disable reserving tickets and show a pre show message (call box office, or buy on door)

3 Options would be good:
Hour to stop selling (At what point should reserving be turned off 00:00 would be midnight before the day of the event) etc
Turn off in pos? [Yes|No]
Disabled Message. [Text]

In the current system the selection when the tickets are send.
we need to clean it up by hiding the not needed selections.
So we see only the options that need to be set and make emails mandatory when needed like "paid email" for email.
